This photo shows some structures at the VALLE CRUCIS ESPICOPAL DIOCESE property. This became known as THE VALLE CRUCIS MISSION and for many years featured school classes, as would a general public school.

I took 1st and 2nd grades at this location, 1932 and 1933 era. The school featured several classrooms and many school age students in the community, got their earliest education at this location. My mother taught school here in the early to mid 1920s. She taught my brother Raymond,( 1915-2004) 3rd grade and brother Louis,(1920-1996) first grade at this location.

About 50 years ago, School classes were discontinued and most of this large facility became a CONFERENCE CENTER.
