| This is the obituaries af both Grandmothers who died in 1943 in Watauga County, N.C. They were first cousins. Grandmother Glenn's father was Edmund Marshall Greer. Civil war veteran and known thruout the family as PAPPY GREER. He was shot in the neck at Gettysburg, Pa. 1863, captured and sent to Union at Pt.Lookout, Md.
