More DEATH VALLEY PHOTOS. Upper pic shows the boiler that was used in processing Borax before loading onto wagons for transport to the Railroad station at MOJAVE, California. Middle pic shows a steam engine ( OLD DINAH ) that was used in an attempt to pull the 2 wagons loaded with borax to MOJAVE. On the very first attempt, the engine became bogged down in the sandy earth, which ended this attempt. In lower pic, I am discussing the wagon and mule transport system that was used several years.
