| This article refers to a scholarship that was established by their son( Mother's brother) Ted Glenn DDS and his wife, Lorena Glenn in honor of My maternal grandparents, Louis and Calley Glenn, who lived near the Watauga River, Watauga County, N.C. Grandfather GLENN taught 50 school terms in Watauga, Avery and Mitchell counties, in a long ago era when school terms were about 3 months long. He retired about 1905 from the teaching profession.
