This is a 1946 picture taken at the Farthing farm on the Watauga river ( Laurel Creek Township ). From the left is Raymond, Dick Farthing ( first Cousin), Benjy, our Grandfather: WILLIAM JUDSON FARTHING, Richard Franklin ( first cousin), Louis and me ( Baxter ).

Grandfather William Farthing's farm was within a mile of our farm and 1946 is the year he sold his farm to Wilson and Reba Trivette Hodges. Reba was our first cousin on mother's side of our family. Her mother was Aunt Bernice GLENN Trivette.
