Sitting: Dixie, Frances, Wheeler and Benjy. Dixie and Benjy were twins born, July, 1930.
During this period, Laura was teaching school at the Valle Crucis Elementary school, Wheeler was in college at Appalachian College in Boone, N.C. upon graduation the following year, taught at our local high school). Frances was teaching school in Caldwell County, N.C. Louis and Raymond were both in the U. S. Navy and were home on leave.
