	This is a VALLE CRUCIS BANK certificate for 2 shares of stock that was purchased, January 1924, by the VALLE CRUCIS COMPANY store. ( this was just before my father became a partner in the store). This certificate shows that my father, Ben W. Farthing, was the cashier and Luther Farthing, president. ( LUTHER FARTHING was a first cousin to my Grandfather, WILLIAM FARTHING).
