I am standing beside the Chevrolet pickup that dad purchased new in 1941 at Boone, N.C.( THE RETAIL PRICE WAS $713.00) As I reported in an earlier page on this website, part of the upper level was floored and we used it to store all of the farm equipment in the dry.
