GREER became an educator and held the position of school principal 40 years in the N.C. public school system.( He also passed the N.C. BAR exam in 1933). ROBERT became a physician and operated a medical clinic at nearby Mountain City, Tennessee., from 1934 until the late 1970s. TED became a dentist and practiced 39 years in N.C., mostly in Boone, N.C. NED was a lifelong farmer at Sugar Grove, N.C. After WW2 he served as instructor for WW2 veterans who began farming under the GI BILL. In 1957, Ned was elected director of the Skyline Telephone Corporation, a position he held several decades.

Uncle Ned married Marylee Bingham who was the daughter of Otto Bingham M.D. He was the doctor who delivered my wife, Reba Cook FARTHING, Sept 1930.
